Rockstar Martial Arts North Prosper
North Prosper opened in February 2019, dedicated to creating a safe, high-energy environment where children grow and push themselves to their fullest potential. Today it stands as a premier BJJ academy offering programs for kids, teens, and adults — led by Coach Lawson Brines under the championship-level guidance of Coach Somalia.
Located on the northeast corner of Preston Road (FM289) and Prosper Trail, near Wingstop and Cook Children's, in the Kroger Marketplace shopping center.

Head Coach Lawson Brines
Lawson began his martial arts journey at age 9, earned his karate black belt, then committed fully to BJJ. He serves as an infantryman in the U.S. Army National Guard and has earned multiple AGF and IBJJF medals — bringing discipline, competitive fire, and genuine care to every class he teaches.
